Our guide was very knowledgeable and best part, we got to see a gator, blue herons and a few other birds. Teenagers enjoyed the animal encounters - we got to hold a baby gator, touch a ball python and a turtle. Kat, the animal care taker was very patient and answered a lot of questions. ★

Our family of four decided on this tour based on the glowing reviews and to be fair the experience was good. We found it pretty easily and we didn’t have to wait very long at all until we heard our boat number being called and we quickly boarded the airboat after a quick but professional photo being taken (that we were able to purchase straight after disembarking). Our guide was highly knowledgeable and friendly, and we were quite fortunate to see one alligator, but it would have been ideal had we been advised that it was unlikely as they’re all hiding from the heat in the depths of the muddy Everglades. Nonetheless, we learned about many of the visible birds and the history of the Everglades, which was delivered in a really engaging way and he powered us back at speed which was fun. Once we returned, we visited the sanctuary albeit small was informative. I will say that in the summer months it’s probably not the best time to visit, but we enjoyed our experience nonetheless.★

This was a lot of fun! The 2 guides were knowledgeable and gracious. They made the trip easy and interesting. The boat was fairly comfortable and had lots of good seats for viewing plus it was mostly covered so the sun couldn’t burn us. All in all, a great trip.★
