I booked a VIP tour this time, and the itinerary was very packed, with five or six boat trips in total, making it a fairly in-depth tour.
The Mekong River didn't look very clear; the water was quite yellow and covered with water hyacinths, but there was no unpleasant odor.
The island had many plants (various fruits) and animals (pythons, crocodiles, catfish, etc.), and the guide led the tour, providing very enthusiastic explanations. At the narrow section of the river where boats were manually rowed, the guide mentioned that a tip was expected for the rowers. Before the tour ended, the guide suggested that if we were satisfied with the trip, we could also tip him; I felt I had to give him something, otherwise I'd feel awkward.★

We had a great day on this tour. We were picked up in Ho Chi Minh City and went by bus to see the Cu Chi tunnels from the Vietnam War. It was very interesting and informative, and the guide explained a lot. Walking inside the tunnels was amazing - very narrow and unforgettable.
After that we had lunch, and it was a big surprise: a lot of food and everything was very tasty. Then we went to the Mekong River and had a nice boat ride, which was really fun. We also saw how coconut candies are made and visited a small honey farm.
Our guide Luis was excellent. He was very friendly, helpful, answered all our questions, and clearly cared about making the tour enjoyable. We really appreciated his effort. Highly recommended!★

We flew out of Nha Trang Airport. We booked fast track access 24 hours in advance. They messaged me on WhatsApp, and they explained everything. We arrived at the airport and first checked in for our flight. Then a young man met us and took us to a separate line for customs. It took us 5 minutes to get through customs. There were about 40 people in the regular line, which wasn't very crowded. We arrived 3 hours before departure, so this service wasn't really necessary. But it's better to spend the extra time shopping than standing in line. If you're short on time and have a lot of flights and people waiting, I definitely recommend using this service.★

I bought a number to make calls for purchases on the Lazada marketplace while I was in Vietnam. The couriers called, everything was fine, and I also sent them a couple of text messages when we couldn't understand each other.
