Very long tour but driver did a very good job by explaining to us and the time passing by. We would like to give a good review to Hans who convince us to trust him for our south visit which was wonderful. We had fried rice for lunch which a first experience for us. I recommend.★

Our tour guide Rudi was absolutely brilliant and took us in a food cultural tour of all things Mauritius! He was really friendly and told us so much about the country and it's people and the influence on its food. We went to food sellers that we probably would have been way too wary of trying and had some very good food.. The only problem was we needed bigger stomachs as there was so much food to eat... You really need to come hungry for this tour as its such great food so skip dinner the night before and skip breakfast and enjoy every mouthful. Really enjoyed seeing the fish market and learning about what fish gets used locally, wasn't as fussed withe grand bazar.. If you want to buy t-shirts and jewellery then it's perfect but not really our thing. Overall. I would absolutely recommend this if you want to eat real local. Food and learn as much as you can about the island and it's culture and hope you get Rudi as your guide
