Reviews: Entrance to the Giant Route of Rio DE Janeiro
Guest User2024-05-03
We went the Ferris wheel after the aquarium. It was about 5pm. It wasn’t that busy. We had a stroller with a baby. We were a little confused on where to go when we entered and the girl who helped us was great, but it was a little strange because she said that if we bought with her friend then we would only pay R$60 per person but it was R$80 if we bought from the place. I don’t know why, but we bought with her friend and it worked. You’re allowed to go around 2 times but with the baby we only did one. The views were great but it wasn’t as cold as I expected it to be. It was fun, but it’s a one time is enough kind of thing. Definitely fun if you have time, but I wouldn’t say it’s a must.

Reviews: Rio de Janeiro: Rocinha Favela Walking Tour with Local Guide
Guest User2026-03-20
The guide was very punctual and professional throughout. We started with the most touristy and crowded part: the favela viewpoint and a capoeira performance. Once that was over, we went inside the favela with the guide, who explained its workings and interesting features. There were hardly any other tourists in this last part, which was great!
Reviews: Historic Petrópolis From Rio: The Imperial City –Palaces, Architecture & Culture
Guest User2024-05-26
The Petrópolis tour was nothing what I thought it was going to be, Ms Eva was very knowledgeable spoked 3 languages, very informed step by steps. Know her history. I felt it was a little overate the Museum. The Crystal Palace was a joke, just a empty building. The Quintandinha Palace was should a long drive just to only see the outside from across the lake. Didn’t walk down Teresa Street, but did go inside the Mall. NeiGotic Cathedral was very nice. The Chocolate Factory was very nice. The Domonts house seem from distance. The lunch meal was amazing, drinks not inclue. Dessert not included. But it was nice, what make nice was Eva the guide.

The pilot was excellent and showed and explained a lot to us in English! We were in the air for about 25 minutes and can highly recommend the flight over Rio!

Our tour guide Peter and driver Paolo were awesome! Had plenty of time at each site and learned a great deal about sugar loaf, Christ the redeemer, and surrounding areas.
