Reviews/Trip Moments

Reviews: Lisbon: Sintra, Quinta Regaleira, Pena Gardens, Cascais Trip
Guest User2026-02-13
Our guide Matt was extremely well informed on the history of the sites, and an interesting guy as well. Our weather was rainy with heavy fog which limited our viewing pleasure, but Matt kept us positive. There is a lot of uphill walking in this day. My health app noted I walked over 17,600 steps and climbed an equivalent of 57 floors, so be prepared for a real workout and dress for total comfort. The sites are amazing though. At least it wasn’t crowded!
Reviews: From Lisbon: COIMBRA and AVEIRO
Guest User2026-01-28
What a wonderful day! Aveiro is charming, and the gondola ride is delightful. Coimbra is a must-see; the University of Coimbra library is fabulous, rich in detail, and transports you to the past. The guide, Guilherme, deserves a ten out of ten – very attentive.

Very practical and enjoyable. Several routes are offered to see the most important sights over a weekend. Numerous stops are made to view the selected must-see locations.
Reviews: Lisbon: Dolphin Watching with Marine Biologist
Guest User2026-02-20
I personally found the outward journey too rough. My eight-year-old daughter got terribly seasick. The guide did his very best to find dolphins and made my daughter feel a bit better by cooling her down and letting her sit on the back of the boat for a bit. Ultimately, we saw a whole pod of large dolphins, which made it all worth it, and thankfully, we had much calmer seas on the way back. A great activity in February if you have sea legs and don't mind rougher seas ;)
Reviews: Jurassic Hiking tour to footprints of dinosaur in Espichel Cape
Guest User2024-07-26
First of sall I have to thank Andre for his flexibility in organising, then having to re-orgainse, our trip. The coastal situation of Cape Espichel is very dramatic with the sauropod and theropd footprints (and tail drag markings!) combing to give a memorable visit. Afterwards Sesimbra castle is situated on a hilltop giving spectacular views especially to the south towards the small fishing resort of Sesimbra where you can take lunch. Andre was very enthusiatic and knowledgeable giving information on the plants as we walked the tracks towards the foorprints and was always keen to let us see the best parts in this area.
