Reviews: Afternoon Food Tour in Bordeaux : Local delicacies

What a wonderful afternoon with Aurelio! He was so knowledgeable, sweet, and entertaining. We learned a lot about the history of the area and sampled some first rate chocolate, pastries and cappuccino. I’m not a fan of coffee, so the barista made me an Iced white chocolate drink with cinnamon that hit the spot on this hot day. I would highly recommend this tour!
Reviews: Bordeaux: Small group - Guided Walking Tour

Bordeaux is too big a city to be able to see all in 2 hours. So, your guide must choose what to show you. For us, Guadalupe made great choices (listed on the website) but the richness of this tour comes from her energy and the stories that she weaves skilfully into the tour. The history of the city is brought to life not just through the mayor, the archbishop, the king and queen but the lives of the ordinary people of Bordeaux. People like us. In addition, Guadalupe points out a good value restaurant, a cheese shop, a wine bar - and, as we scrambled to make notes, she says, "No need, I will send you an email of my recommendations after the walk". It arrived, as promised. We already bought some great cheese and tonight we will go to the wine bar. We strongly recommend that you pay a bit more for Guadalupe's small group tour. Her English is excellent and she is great company.
