Reviews: GRANDMA'S Home Thai Cooking School in CHIANG MAI

Great experience at Grandmas Home Cooking School. Roger our teacher took us through process of how to make soup, pad thai and thai curry in a relaxed, warm atmosphere. The grounds are stunning, pick up easy, food tasted fantastic. Im so glad I decided to do this activity. I opted for chicken coconut soup, chicken khao soi curry and shrimp pad thai. Finished off with Mango Sticky Rice.

THE CLASS WAS SO FUN!!! It was really cool to visit the market and learn about different local ingredients that are used in Thai dishes. Satam made the class so enjoyable and fun! she was very patient with us and was very knowledgeable! The cooking class was easy to follow and there was A LOT OF FOOD after! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to go.

Very interesting experience, there is a special minibus transfer The afternoon session was very relaxed. I met new ingredients in their own park vegetable garden. There were many spices alone. No wonder the taste of Thai food was so rich and delicious. Experienced three dishes, full of weight, can not eat can also pack hahaha ~ I made it very delicious, full of accomplishment The instructor is very interesting ~ the process changes the laughter 😄 There are also special photographers who will take close-up photos for each person in the middle. It is highly recommended to experience ❤️

The store is enthusiastic and responsive. The pick-up is also very convenient. The coach of the jungle leap will also speak Chinese. It is very friendly to children and highly recommended!

We had a great time - initially we were a bit nervous cuz u hear so much stuff about unethical fake elephant sanctuaries - but the guide was from the main elephant nature park (which was all booked up). It was a score as it was off peak and we had the whole place to ourselves. So they do assist these smaller sanctuary’s and help them out with these tours and offer them food. Really magical to see them lumbering up from the forest and we got to feed them and follow them to the river and see them play in the mud. It is pretty low key and she has these 2 elephants - and they looked pretty oompah-loompa chunky and happy. The baby unfortunately has some head shaking that they say is a result of trauma so it’s wonderful to see her free. But it’s a really sweet experience that we highly recommend. She does these tours and keeps the farm going so she can afford to feed them. As for the river rafting- it’s fun and also great to see elephants on land while u whizz past but it’s pretty’rustic’
