Reviews: Great Ocean Road Small-Group Eco Tour from Melbourne
Guest User2026-02-19
I was wondering if the natural scenery would be anything special, but wow, it was worth coming! There were a lot of people, but it was worth the visit. The best way is to drive there on your own, but since the driver is tired, I think this is okay too!
Reviews: [Ample Stock Available for Chinese New Year] Melbourne Great Ocean Road Trail + Twelve Apostles Day Trip
Guest User2026-01-19
I spent five nights in Melbourne during my trip to Australia, including one day exploring the Great Ocean Road. Friends recommended driving, but there are so many factors to consider when driving abroad. This Great Ocean Road day trip on Ctrip was a much more convenient option. A professional guide drove us around, making the itinerary both compact and comfortable, allowing us to see more and experience more of the wonders within the allotted time. The Twelve Apostles and Apollo Bay were absolutely breathtaking! The bus was comfortable and smooth, the guide was professional and attentive, and the entire journey was seamless. Apollo Bay's crescent shape was incredibly soothing; the azure waters paired with the lush greenery, enjoying fresh seafood while feeling the sea breeze, was pure bliss. The most stunning sight was undoubtedly the Twelve Apostles, seven limestone pillars rising from the sea. Waves crashing against the rocks create white sprays, and the sunlight turning the rocks golden—a testament to nature's artistry. Overall, the trip was stress-free with no worries about transportation or tickets, the schedule was well-planned and not rushed, and the value for money was exceptional. This journey was full of surprises and is definitely a must-do experience in Melbourne!
Reviews: Great Ocean Road Tour Plus Koalas, Forest Walk and Morning Tea
Guest User2026-02-02
The tour was excellent and Warren our guide was highly entertaining and thorough. The morning tea was a juice box and a cookie, so bring snacks as the first place for food is the lunch stop around 11:30. Beware, the route is very winding/curving along the coast. If you experience motion sickness, please take note. It would be ideal if your operators could mention this on the "What to Expect" or "Additional Information" sections. The bus is cramped in the last 2 rows, you are not able to see through the front as these rows are lower than all the others. But the tour was excellent. The Gorge, and Twelve Apostles are breathtaking. Easy walking even for a senior. The forest walk in a loop in the rain forest and can be steep at moments. We were able to spot koalas along the roadside, as well as kangaroos.
Reviews: Full Day Private Custom Tour of Great Ocean Road & 12 Apostles
Guest User2024-07-01
Grateful to Mark for leading us on an all day tour for one of our three days in Melbourne. We really enjoyed the Great Ocean Road tour including all the stops including the Twelve Apostles, Gibsons Steps (a good exercise), Loch Ard Gorge, Apollo Bay, Maits Rest rainforest, Bells Beach, and many other stops along the way. Having private guide is key since we could tailor trip and length of stops, and throw in a few unscheduled Koala and Kangaroo sightings along the way. Very comfortable and informative tour. The day was fantastic. Thank you Mark!
Reviews: From Melbourne: Great Ocean Road, Dingos, Sparkling & Lunch

This was such a great day! Russell was an amazing guide. He was so easy to talk to and a fascinating person. The tour was excellent- well paced and got to see a variety of beautiful places. The wildlife sanctuary was incredible. All of the animals seemed so well cared for and content. I smooched a dingo! The lunch at the sanctuary was excellent as well. I would recommend this tour to everyone!
Reviews: Great Ocean Road classic day tour [Chinese & English speaking driver/guide & popular spots & air-conditioned bus] in Melbourne

It was a great tour with a great driver, Augustin. It's definitely worth the trip, as you can see the 12 apostles from at least five angles. The bus was comfortable, and everything matched the description.
