Reviews: Bruges and Ghent - Belgium's Fairytale Cities - from Brussels
Guest User2025-07-18
Certainly! Here’s a one-paragraph review: I recently joined a guided tour of Bruges and Ghent and had a great experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating insights into the history, architecture, and culture of both cities. Highlights included visits to the Markt and canals in Bruges and to Gravensteen Castle and St. Bavo’s Cathedral in Ghent, with plenty of interesting stories and recommendations for local food along the way. The tour was well-paced and made exploring both cities easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get the most out of their visit to Bruges and Ghent.

Wonderful tour by a great Scotsman! He was very animated and told the story of Bruges, captivating and intriguing us the entire 2 hour tour, with two kids in town. We weaved in and out of the streets, mansions and museums (outside). Through the light rain and cold weather, it was still intriguing. Really enjoyed this and highly recommend this company as your way of discovering the background and history of such a wonderful little city.

This was the best way to get an overview tour of Bruges. The biking was very easy even though we covered a lot of ground (7 miles) and saw all of the major sights.
