Reviews: From Brussels: Bruges & Ghent Day Tour - 2 Fairytale Cities
Guest User2026-03-26
A wonderful experience: Ghent is beautiful, but Bruges is wonderful. It's definitely worth a visit. There are a few things to consider, however: unfortunately, time in Bruges is short compared to Ghent; you can explore the city, but you don't have much time to see some of the highlights. Furthermore, in our case, the guide spoke Spanish and English, but there's no option for an Italian-speaking guide. If you have a good command of English, it's not a problem; otherwise, unfortunately, the experience is limited. The guide, however, was very kind, and the schedule and transportation were excellent. Recommended: 5 stars!
Reviews: Ghent: 50-Minute Medieval Center Guided Boat Trip

Excellent! Would book it again, its only 45 mins and gave you a good view of Ghent. I particularly love the square with the Weeping Willows and walked there after the boat trip. I would have missed this otherwise. Well worth it.

Good amount of time to get to know Ghent from a different view (on the water). Guide was impressive speaking 3 different languages, cracking jokes and steering the boat. Good value for money. A little squished but would recommend.

Diederik was a great guide for us, exceptional knowledge of WW1 and was able to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend
