An interesting excursion. It lived up to the description. The highlight was the boat ride along the canal among the palm trees and bamboo; I took the best photos there. The guide was cheerful, accompanied me everywhere, and showed me everything. There were many places where you could buy goods: honey, candy, and water. But this wasn't required. Tips are also always required, but that's optional. Feeding the crocodiles is very cheap; I highly recommend it.★

I booked a VIP tour this time, and the itinerary was very packed, with five or six boat trips in total, making it a fairly in-depth tour.
The Mekong River didn't look very clear; the water was quite yellow and covered with water hyacinths, but there was no unpleasant odor.
The island had many plants (various fruits) and animals (pythons, crocodiles, catfish, etc.), and the guide led the tour, providing very enthusiastic explanations. At the narrow section of the river where boats were manually rowed, the guide mentioned that a tip was expected for the rowers. Before the tour ended, the guide suggested that if we were satisfied with the trip, we could also tip him; I felt I had to give him something, otherwise I'd feel awkward.★

We enjoyed the tour. Everything was perfectly organized from the start. We were picked up from the hotel on time. Our guide, Lio, communicated with us through a translator since we were in an English-speaking group, but we understood him perfectly. We reached the locations a little earlier than the other groups, so we got great photos without the crowds. The driver drove well, quickly but carefully.★

The most satisfying part of the trip; the experience was great. It was a good thing that the shopping locations listed on the website were clearly indicated, and there was no forced shopping or excessive persuasion, nor was there any pressure to stay a certain amount of time. You could stay longer if you were interested, and simply move on if you weren't. The meals, fruits, and activities were all good.
