I was leery of a large group trip. However, the directions to get to the meeting place were spot on. The organization of travel - bus, boat, bus, and bus - was clear. The tulip field presentation was delightful. I enjoyed the boat trip and learned something about the area. I was fearful that, since it was the end of the tulip season, the tulips in the garden would be limited. How wrong I was. It was stunning!

We did this trip back in 05/2024 (forgot to leave a review at the time). The transportation was timely, the windmill cruise was peaceful, and I liked the option of having free time in the Keukenhof Gardens where they had readily available buses to take you back to Amsterdam. Highly recommend

Several departure times are offered, and it was crowded, but being a tourist attraction, it didn't bother us at all. The journey was very pleasant, and the guide provided commentary, allowing us to learn more about the city and the tulip fields. The scenery was beautiful, and the garden was magnificent. A return time is scheduled, but we were able to fully enjoy our visit without feeling rushed. Book well in advance!

Exploring the area by bike is always a good idea, especially if it takes you past the tulip fields in Lisse! Friendly guides, who are from Lisse themselves, can answer all your questions about the region and tulips. I took the tour in the late afternoon, when the cycle paths are quieter. Ideal for those who cycle less frequently. The meeting point is also easily accessible by public transport. However, keep in mind that there can be traffic jams entering Lisse during peak season. But seeing the tulips by bike is definitely recommended (secretly a more enjoyable experience than Keukenhof!)


