Reviews: Mekong Delta One-day Tour in Ho Chi Minh City, Boats tour to My Tho - Vinh Trang Pagoda - Thoi Son Island [ English-Guide | No Shopping | Hotel Pick-up - Lunch included]
Guest User2025-11-28
I booked a VIP tour this time, and the itinerary was very packed, with five or six boat trips in total, making it a fairly in-depth tour. The Mekong River didn't look very clear; the water was quite yellow and covered with water hyacinths, but there was no unpleasant odor. The island had many plants (various fruits) and animals (pythons, crocodiles, catfish, etc.), and the guide led the tour, providing very enthusiastic explanations. At the narrow section of the river where boats were manually rowed, the guide mentioned that a tip was expected for the rowers. Before the tour ended, the guide suggested that if we were satisfied with the trip, we could also tip him; I felt I had to give him something, otherwise I'd feel awkward.
Reviews: Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Full Day Tour (Cu Chi – My Tho – Ben Tre)
Guest User2026-02-06
We had a great day on this tour. We were picked up in Ho Chi Minh City and went by bus to see the Cu Chi tunnels from the Vietnam War. It was very interesting and informative, and the guide explained a lot. Walking inside the tunnels was amazing - very narrow and unforgettable. After that we had lunch, and it was a big surprise: a lot of food and everything was very tasty. Then we went to the Mekong River and had a nice boat ride, which was really fun. We also saw how coconut candies are made and visited a small honey farm. Our guide Luis was excellent. He was very friendly, helpful, answered all our questions, and clearly cared about making the tour enjoyable. We really appreciated his effort. Highly recommended!

I was able to enter the country really quickly, and I really liked that they answered all my questions right away so kindly and quickly!! I had a bit of a problem during immigration, but they handled everything and even shared solutions, which was really great. I highly recommend them!!

The internet is very good. Always stable. But the Vietnamese number we got for it was never needed.

It's convenient if you're not going for a month. No need to bother looking for a SIM card; I activated it right upon arrival. I downloaded the profile in China and simply activated it upon arrival. I have an eSIM adapter, but for some reason it didn't work right away. I physically removed the adapter, reinserted it, and everything worked fine.
Reviews: Ho Chi Minh City Double-Decker Sightseeing Bus (City Sightseeing Saigon)
Guest User2025-06-08
I was not dissatisfied with this amount. The starting point is also in the center, and I want to raise the tension on the day of arrival, so it's quick to feel the atmosphere of the city. The word of mouth said that sunset was recommended because it was hot during the daytime, so I did so. It was the rainy season, so I was just hit by a squall and it was a little 々 cold. It's hard to see the scenery with an umbrella, so it might be a good idea to bring a disposable kappa (convenience store sells) (it's worth using elsewhere because squalls come many times during your stay). ※ By the way, I had a folding umbrella (using the second floor seating bus = getting wet). As an aside, I bought a kappa while walking around the city when I forgot my umbrella to Hodel.
