The pickup was safe and comfortable, and the schedule seemed to have gone according to plan. However, it was a shame that the weather suddenly got bad and we didn't get to see many fireflies. However, overall, I'm leaving with good memories.

Mermaid Island, Kota Kinabalu is a dream paradise not to be missed 🌴 Traveling to Kota Kinabalu, a day trip to Mermaid Island is definitely the best arrangement for this trip! At 7 o'clock in the morning, the driver came to the hotel on time to pick up people and started a happy journey for a day. Although it is nearly two hours drive from the city to the pier, the tropical scenery along the way is not enough to see, and it will be there without knowing it~ Go to the pier to change to a speedboat, ride the wind and waves all the way, and feel the enthusiasm and vitality of the sea. The sea breeze blows on the face, and the splash of water brings a little coolness. The excitement and pleasure are simply unforgettable. About 50 minutes, you will arrive at the dreamy mermaid island. As soon as I got on the island, I was shocked by the beauty in front of me. The 2-kilometer-long white sand beach is as fine as a powder, and it is soft and super comfortable to step on bare feet. The sea is crystal clear, showing a charming blue-green, from shallow to deep spread, it is really "Asia's Maldives", and a shot is a beautiful blockbuster! Snorkeling is the main event of Mermaid Island, it is definitely a paradise for snorkeling lovers! I followed the coach into the water and was instantly attracted by the wonderful underwater world. The colorful coral reefs grow wildly, and various tropical fishes shuttle between them, as if breaking into a fairy tale world. I reached for touch, and they swim flexibly and it was fun. And the water visibility was 40 meters, the view was particularly clear, and I felt like a free fish, swimming in this wonderful seabed. When you are tired, go ashore for lunch. It is a rich seafood buffet, crabs, prawns, various sea fish, and fresh fruit. After lunch, you can move freely on the island, or lie on a beach chair to bask in the sun, or explore the tropical plants on the island. Every moment is full of comfort. At around 3pm, we set off for the mangrove forest. Sitting on the boat, we shuttled between the river, the dense mangrove forest on both sides of the bank was lush. If you are lucky, you can also see the cute long-nosed monkeys jumping on the branches. They are very cute and add a lot of fun to the journey. In the evening, the most romantic moment came! The sunset on the sky dyed the whole sky orange and red, reflected on the sea, like a dream, and a shot is a beautiful blockbuster. After dark, we set off again on a boat to look for the flashing fireflies . When the boat slowly advanced, suddenly a "starry sky" appeared, which turned out to be thousands of fireflies flickering among the mangroves. They danced like elves in the night sky, beautiful to suffocate. At that moment, everyone was shocked by this dreamy scene, and involuntarily marveled. Although the trip to Mermaid Island is a bit rushed, it is really worth it! You can enjoy the island's sunny beach and snorkeling joy, and you can feel the mystery and romance of the mangrove forest. Highly recommended to friends who come to Kota Kinabalu, be sure to come here to feel this unique beauty!

The sunsets in Malaysia are truly world-renowned and absolutely stunning. Our tour guide also directed us to see the animals and helped us find the best viewing spots. The whole experience was very comfortable, and the price was reasonable with great value for money.

The itinerary was well-planned, and the round-trip transportation was convenient, saving me a lot of trouble! The guide was patient, and the snorkeling gear was clean. Even beginners got used to it in just 5 minutes. Underwater, you could clearly see clownfish and colorful corals. Overall, it deserves five stars!
