Reviews: Chichen Itza, Cenote & Valladolid Tour with Tequila and Lunch

Kevin, the guide, and Gabriel, the driver, were extremely personable. Kevin was super knowledgeable and brought an element of humour to what is a long day to ensure people remain engaged. Special thanks to him for sharing such wisdom, ensuring we were satisfied with the tour, and giving some extra pointers on every stop. I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico! Thanks again

The day was great, pick up from our hotel in Tulum and traveled in A/C mini bus in small group. Tour guide spoke English on our tour of the ruins and was very funny and informative. A great day out, well worth it and highly recommend

We, my daughter and I, did a private tour to Chichen Itza, lunch, and a cenote — and it was hands down one of the best days of our entire trip. First off, our guide David was f’ing awesome. Seriously. Super friendly, right on time, smooth driver, and just an all-around great human. He took amazing pictures for us, never rushed us, and let us spend as much time as we wanted at each stop. Having our own private car was 100% worth the extra cost — drinks, privacy, comfort, no waiting around for strangers… just us enjoying the day at our pace. Chichen Itza was epic. Standing there in front of that history is surreal. We learned a ton, picked up some great souvenirs, and David made the whole experience even better with his knowledge and laid-back vibe. For lunch, we had the option of buffet or restaurant — we chose the restaurant and it was perfect. Super delicious food (like, seriously yum). I even paid a little extra for three different top-shelf tequila shots… zero regrets. Fantastic. And then the cenote… wow. Magical. There’s no other word for it. Absolutely breathtaking and the perfect way to end the day. If you’re debating whether to do the private tour — do it. If you can request David — absolutely do that too. Five stars all day. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

amazing. if you’re a solo female traveller, GO!! You meet so many people on this tour and everyone was lovely, particularly our tour guides rafael, eduardo and hugo. the people i met i made plans with after this tour. Hugo kindly answered my questions and educated me about the civil war between the spainards and mayans.

An amazing experience, highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience the real Mexico; a thrilling day exploring cenotes and enchanting Valladolid. Thanks to Ivonne and Raul for taking us back in time to the heart of the Mayan civilization. We had it all: culture, food, sun, and tons of fun.

Joel the tour guide and Benji the driver took great care of us today! They were prompt, highly organized, and made it a wonderful experience. Joel is very knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited. We spent over four hours at Chichen Itza, were there right when they opened and he knew exactly where to take us. We had a good mix of exploring on our own, a little bit of souvenir shopping, and some great food. The cenote swimming was a highlight for sure. I would highly recommend this tour to see the sites as well as have a great experience.
