I loved making (and eating!) the pizza with the two chefs. I could not be happier with the experience and the recipes and cannot wait to get home and try on my own. I have already ordered the scraper that i need to complete this recipe (i have the fork!). I look forward toi many yummy pizzas with fond memories of my time with the Town of Italy folks!

Guido and Steven were both incredible. This experience was one of a kind and a must do in Florence. Both were beyond kind and so knowledgeable. They really created for a fun experience. We did the wine tasting and then had a few more glasses of wine and even took 6 glasses to go! 10/10 experience!

A very pleasant experience in a convivial and international atmosphere. The two ladies who led the course were welcoming and helpful, and had everything planned precisely. Perhaps, if I had to offer a couple of suggestions, it would be nice to receive a little more explanation on how the number of drops for each chosen note is calculated, and I would suggest having no more than 10 people in attendance to avoid excessively long and empty waits when the amount of drops for each person is determined. These are small details, however, and the experience is recommended for those looking for a more general introduction to this method!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Pasta Class Florence. Our chef/teacher Andreas was skilled, friendly, and funny, with a talent for drawing the whole group together as well as personalized attention to each student. The class size of 13 was great for getting a variety of students from all over the world but still giving us a chance to chat with our neighbors and teacher. We made three types of pasta (knife-cut papperdelle, wire-cut spaghetti, and filled mezzalune which Andreas then showed us how to turn into cappelletti). Andreas also demonstrated making three sauces (beef shank ragu, olive oil with garlic and chili pepper, and browned butter flavoured with sage and garlic), but also made a special tomato and herb sauce for the vegetarian in our group. We learned how to make pasta using just a rolling pin and knife, a pasta rolling machine, and a wire “pasta guitar.” We also received a PDF of recipes after the class as well as Andreas’ personal recommendations for places to eat and shop. One of the highlights of our week in Florence, and I would 100% recommend for foodie friends!
