A highly recommended experience that allows you to appreciate a culture you're not used to seeing as a European. There's still a strong tourist influx, but the food and performances are incredible. The best cruise ever. We cruised down the Huangpu river after a delightful, full service all you can eat dinner. The picturesque views were awe dropping. There is even an observation deck at the top for those wanting to have a seat, at an extra cost. Worth every penny. Fantastic!

The massage was amazing but getting in may be challenging for non-Chinese. The name of the place is now secret garden. The first time we spoke to the reception they told us we were in the wrong place - I was showing the trip.com booking but they acted like it was nothing to do with them. The hotel staff then told me it was definitely there so when I went back I insisted and suddenly they found the booking. No apology. Weird.
