Reviews: A day trip to view autumn foliage at Kamishimi Kumanozha Shrine in Kumamoto, Japan, Takachiho Gorge in Miyazaki, and Ten'an Kawara.

This was a fantastic day trip with Gogoday! We departed from Hakata Station at 8 AM and arrived back at 6 PM. There was a rest stop at a highway service area. The itinerary included three attractions, and the time allotted was ample, allowing plenty of time to explore each one. Lunch was at Ama-Iwato Shrine, but time was a bit tight, so you could buy food at a nearby supermarket or beforehand at a Lawson convenience store near Hakata Station or at the highway service area. Finally, you could browse souvenir shops at Takachiho Gorge. The tour group consisted of both Chinese and Korean participants. Our guide, Mr. Zheng, first introduced the tour in Chinese and then in Korean. He was very kind and humorous, and there was absolutely no hard selling. He even gave us souvenirs! Thank you! 🙏

Taking the "Exploring the Hidden Gems of Kyushu" day tour booked through Ctrip was definitely worthwhile. The scenery along the way was breathtaking, with ancient charm blending seamlessly with nature, captivating the heart and leaving a lasting impression. Our guide, Li Xiangrong, possessed a deep understanding of the local culture, providing detailed and insightful explanations. She also switched fluently between Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, ensuring a pleasant travel experience for us.

Before departure, make an appointment online. In the itinerary description, the Takachisui Gorge boat "cannot be reserved in advance", but when leaving the local area, the tour guide clearly explained how to make an appointment online before you can have the opportunity to take a boat. If this attraction is not able to take a boat, it will greatly lose the color of the itinerary. Please write a summary to give us real information to our consumers, thank you. In addition, I highly praise the tour guide, very professional, experienced, treat people with care, care about the safety of group friends

The natural scenery of Kyushu is very beautiful and the visual effect is particularly good. The itinerary is more reasonable, and the points to go are more essence. The tour guide Johnny is very dedicated and the introduction is in place. In order to save time for everyone, he saw him buy the train ticket and run back to the bus all the way. The first time I had a beef burger made with rice, it was delicious. The only downside was that it was a bit too sunburnt to take this little train in summer.

What a pleasant and smooth day! 🌞 The weather was amazing! Autumn in Takachiho Gorge is beautiful. Luckily, I didn't become an Aso refugee! 😂 I saw Mount Aso up close, it was quite breathtaking! Our guide, Daisy Wu Xia, was super nice – very professional service, a well-planned itinerary, and very helpful. She even shared local food and shopping tips with us… Looking forward to seeing you again!

Super fun! The Aso crater is incredibly cold, so be sure to wear lots and lots of layers! Otherwise, you won't be able to stand for even five minutes. Kusanagi Senri is great; you can get up close to horses, browse souvenir shops, and drink delicious yogurt. The ginkgo leaves at the shrine are beautiful, carpeted with fallen leaves. I initially thought Kurokawa Onsen would be boring since I didn't plan to stay overnight, and going into the baths alone felt a bit too sedentary. But I found it very enjoyable to explore. There's plenty of time. Don't rush to the first free foot bath. You can buy a hot spring egg for 10 yen, then walk further in; there's a foot bath for 100 yen per person that's less crowded and has some scenery. You can also buy towels from vendors. After your foot bath, explore further; there's a cream puff shop where you can buy many sweets—a very unique place. The whole trip was quite relaxing and not too rushed. Remember to bring some coins to buy eggs and foot baths at Kurokawa. You can also pray at the shrine!
