Reviews: Blarney Castle Full-Day Tour from Dublin

Very happy we took this tour. Our guide and driver was very kind and made a busy trip relaxing. He kept us informed and created a good environment. Unlike another tour we stopped at a rest stop prior to drop off which was very helpful!

Although the price per unit of the tour seems a bit high, some of the places on the itinerary are really difficult to see in one day using public transportation, so I personally think it's quite worthwhile. Important note! While Blarney Castle and Cassel Rock are beautiful, I don't think they're places you need to spend too much time at. Seeing all three in one trip was just the right amount of time – not too short, not too long at each place. However, the time spent in Cork city at the end was indeed a little short, which was a bit of a shame.

We ended up taking the full day tour, but glad in the end that we did as it would have been rushed otherwise. We were lucky to have a beautiful, sunny day for our tour and it was amazing from start to finish. We had lots of time at each stop to enjoy the sights and scenery. Our driver, Kevin, was great! His commentary was very informative, he gave us great food and drink recommendations and was very funny. We enjoyed the day immensely.
Reviews: 1-day tour to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway | Includes admission ticket and guide

Trip started out with standing in rain in Dublin cos it’s just on the roadside but thankfully by the time we reached first stop it was cool cloudy and no rain. Our guide Richard and driver Anil were really good and experienced with lots of information and smooth journey. Cliffs were the highlight and it was worth the trip. Could tell it had rained earlier cos the ground were damp. At Galway stop we ate at Kings head as recommended by Richard. We ate their oysters as recommended. Really fresh tho not huge. €20 for six. Highly recommended and worth the price and trip. Anil was very skilful as could see some roads were really narrow and tight.

Great. It's interesting. The staircase is practically vertical. If you're very tall, you might find it difficult to climb. The ascent is very easy; it's 10 steps with 10 steps each. The views from the top are spectacular.
