Reviews: Essential Whitby: Discover the town's legends on a self-guided audio tour

Excellent self guided tour. So easy to set up and use, brilliant that it can be paused along the way. Very interesting information that appealed to us and our teenagers. Good value for money.

Reviews: From York: North Moors and Whitby Tour

John was an excellent guide. Very friendly and passionate about Yorkshire (arguably the greatest county in England). We learned so much. I'm from Northern England myself and learned things I had never known about before! We had an absolutely fantastic day. On the way back, we were stuck behind a lorry pulling an old steam train for a short time, and John was even able to tell us about the type of train it was, when it was built, what sorts of names they were given, etc. I've done a few of these sorts of tours before, but I've never had a guide as knowledgeable as John before. My partner and I highly recommend this tour. You will NOT be disappointed! Get it booked and see God's own country of Yorkshire for yourself!
Reviews: York: "All Creatures Great and Small" Yorkshire Dales Tour

Trip was great, I enjoyed it. Ben was great driver and tour guide. But I don’t think too much tour talk was necessary. I am 100% sure none of us remember what’s been explained regarding the places. Please reduce the amount of tour talks. Too much! I think we could cut Wensleydale visit shorter than one hour and stay in Aysgarth little longer than just 5 mins! Much more beautiful than typical countryside villages like Wensleydale.
Reviews: North York Moors and Whitby Day Tour from York

Our tour guide was John and he was simply fantastic. Very informative but he also had that Northern warm personality, wit and hospitality that this region is famous for. I would highly recommend this tour. Has given me a whole new appreciation for this country, and I was born and raised in England! 10/10
Reviews: Fun, Flexible Treasure Hunt Around York with Cryptic Clues & Hidden Gems
Guest User2024-08-03
Local to York and have been many times, however, the tour took us to places that I have never noticed but will go back to again. Varied route, a good mixture of tricky to easier to solve clues, a few kept us (and others we saw) guessing. Gets the brain working while experiencing this magnificent city. Took us a little longer than advertised as we wanted to take in the surroundings and stop for refreshments. Great way to see the city.
