Reviews: Half-day tour of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Museum [Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Museum (ticket reservation) + intangible cultural heritage oil paper umbrella experience + Qiao Xizhi Street guided tour]

The guide, Ms. Chen, was very patient and explained things in detail. She didn't use any sales tactics, which was excellent.

We took the tour on the first night of our trip. It was well organized. The food was plentiful and a good balance of different types of dishes. Andy was a great guide. He took very good care of our group and helped us with figuring out other activities in Beijing. I would definitely recommend the tour.
Reviews: Beijing: Jinshanling Great Wall Daily Bus Tour with Options [Join-in Group and Small Group] Departing at 7:30AM

Doing this trip during the winter was so worth it- there was almost no one else at the Jinshaling section of the wall when we were there! If it is snowy/icy, I wouldn't recommend going to Jinshaling though as it will be too slippery (there were some steep climbs). The driver was there on time to drop us off at the wall and was there again to take us back. One thing I would say is that you do NOT get a guide with this tour, basically just a driving service- I thought that wasn't very clear on the description. Everything else was great, no complaints 👍
