Reviews: Blue Cave and Hvar Tour - 5 Islands Tour from Split and Trogir

Highlight of trip to Croatia. Whilst Dubrovnik is a beautiful place to visit and swim this boat trip sees the beauty of the Croatian islands without the big crowds. A must when in Split. The blue cave is unique. The island of Vis was great for a coffee and swim. The water was warm and crystal clear. The other islands are beautiful. Hvar, is pretty and if you want walk up to the top of the hill. There are opportunities for a swim so pack your swimming attire and a towel. The staff on the boat are friendly, very helpful and engaging. The boat is fast, safe and a lot of fun. The music playlist is good too.

Awesome trip, had a great time and met some fellow Canadian's and other travellers. An open bar does make people more friendly and above all no one was rowdy or crazy. Crew and staff attentive and the weather couldn't have been better!! So far the higight of the trip and loved it. Highly recommend to book thia excursion, bring sunscreen if needed though but well worth every penny!

This five-island tour was the absolute standout experience of our entire trip! From the moment we boarded, our guide and captain set a fun, upbeat tone that lasted all day. The company was also fantastic — super communicative before the trip and quick to respond to any questions we had. The Blue Cave was truly one of the most magical sights I’ve ever experienced — photos just don’t do it justice. Throughout the day, our guide shared great local knowledge about each stop and gave awesome recommendations for things to see, shop, and eat. (Thanks to him, I had the best hamburger of my life on Hvar!) Between the laughter, music, dancing, swimming, and all the gorgeous scenery, the atmosphere on board was just perfect — relaxed, fun, and unforgettable. The boat itself was comfortable and practical too, with a small cabin for changing and a bathroom onboard. I would recommend this tour every single time to anyone visiting Split. It’s the perfect combination of adventure, beauty, and pure joy!

We booked this boat trip as a family (2 adults and 4 children aged 21, 18, 14 and 8) and it was honestly one of the best days of our holiday. Our skipper Mateo was fantastic from the very start. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and confident that we all felt at ease straight away. My youngest son was a little nervous at first but Mateo reassured him, got him a life jacket and by the end of the trip he was laughing, shouting with excitement when the boat went over the waves and proudly being called “captain” by Mateo. The boat itself was extremely comfortable with padded seats and shade over the whole deck, which made such a difference for us. I have back issues and was worried about this, but I felt comfortable all day and never unsafe, even when the boat picked up speed over the waves (which turned out to be great fun). The music on board was brilliant too and had us all singing along. We stopped at so many incredible places, including some less touristy spots that were absolutely beautiful. Mateo told us so much about the history of Croatia, which was fascinating, and he made the whole day feel very personal. We were lucky enough to see dolphins and Mateo stopped so we could enjoy watching them. The swimming stops were stunning, with crystal clear water where we were given goggles to use and even fed fish from the side of the boat. We loved exploring Komiza, where we had ice cream and picked up drinks for the boat, and later had lunch at Spice in Hvar on Mateo’s recommendation, which was delicious and had something for everyone. Throughout the day the balance of exploring, relaxing and swimming was perfect. The sea breeze made the journey so relaxing that a few of us even fell asleep between islands. It really was a magical day that we’ll never forget. My children haven’t stopped talking about it since and we all agreed it was the highlight of our trip. I can’t recommend this experience enough. Croatia is one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited and this trip made it even more special. Thank you Mateo for making such wonderful family memories.

The trip met my expectations. The islands were charming, the views were breathtaking, the guide was very friendly, and the captain was like Poseidon. I recommend it to all active people. This trip isn't for those prone to seasickness; you spend a lot of time on the boat, so you need to be prepared for speed and bumps. I recommend bringing towels or raincoats, as water splashes onto the boat frequently. It's worth taking a short motorboat ride first; this type of transport isn't for everyone. For me, the trip was a complete success, and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys adventure. Best regards to the staff!
