It was very convenient to be able to board a train simply by saving the searched schedule. Changing the schedule was also easy. However, the update of delayed train times was a little slow, making it difficult to travel on tight schedules in some sections. Also, it was a bit inconvenient that seat reservations could only be purchased by going to the website first, rather than through the app. Overall, however, I was satisfied.★

The guide, Sherlumbo, was excellent. He went into the character of a detective, looking for clues around York city centre, and made the tour not only interesting and informative, but also engaging, funny and quirky. We were really pleased that, although there were only four of us on the tour, the tour company was really committed to providing good customer service, ensuring the tour went ahead with this small number of people. We can't think of any way that the tour could be improved and thank you for a really lovely afternoon.★

My Wife and I booked to go on the Historical Gems Tour & Taste of York Chocolate on Thursday 12th Sept 2024.
We can’t thank Sherlombo enough for an amazing and entertaining tour, he was not only incredibly knowledgable and professional, but also warm, entertaining and engaging. Even though there were only 4 people on the tour he kept in character the whole time, and played an excellent part.
Sherlombo was an fantastic tour guide and can’t thank him enough for his time, and will definitely be booking more tours with yourselves next time we come to York or any of the major cities in the UK as this was great value for money.
