The meeting point was right by the Starbucks at the east-shiroku exit of Hakata Station, and we departed right on time. Some tourists overslept and didn't even wait. They were very punctual.
The bus was in excellent condition, with plenty of air conditioning. The guide was very welcoming.
Kumamoto Castle and Mount Aso were both great. Despite the heat, Kumamoto Castle was worth visiting; it's air-conditioned and offers a panoramic view from above. There were also many delicious dishes on the first floor. The horse meat fried cakes were delicious, and the limited-edition watermelon soda was very quenching.
Due to Mount Aso's active season, we couldn't get the bus to our nearest viewing location, which was a shame.
The ice cream on the mountain was delicious and worth trying. The set lunch menu was also good, though a bit pricey up there. The air was nice, and walking on the grass was much cooler than at the foot of the mountain.โ

Our guide, Yoshitani, was very friendly! Unfortunately, it coincided with the "mountain scorching" (wildfire) of Mount Aso, a traditional event held annually in February and March in the Aso region of Kumamoto Prefecture. The aim is to maintain the vast grassland landscape, prevent deforestation, and prepare for new grass growth in spring by burning dry grass. Everything was a dark, smoky black. We'll have to come back another day!โ

Our tour guide, Ms. Zhuo, was incredibly genuine, with a wonderful personality and a straightforward nature. Unlike other tour guides who are often driven by self-interest, she genuinely shared the best local food and attractions with us.
The entire trip was very relaxing and perfectly planned, making for a smooth day. We avoided traffic jams and didn't waste any time. It was the luckiest trip of our entire trip, and I'd love to see her again!
The driver was also a wonderful presence, providing enthusiastic and engaging explanations that were especially entertaining.โ

The tour guide this time was very nice. He proactively added me on WeChat a day in advance to provide some helpful information, much more attentive and friendly than the guide from Toekei Company I booked before! ๐๐ He explained that due to an accident, we couldn't go directly to the volcano, but after asking my opinion, we went back to the park in the moonlight instead. On the day of the trip, the guide adjusted the order of the attractions accordingly, first going to Kusasenri for a distant view of Mount Aso, which was very thoughtful. Although the stops at each point were short, everyone on the bus was very punctual. There was a light drizzle when we went to Kurokawa Onsen, which added to the atmosphere. ๐ This day trip to a remote area of โโKyushu was perfect for me; I really enjoyed it and will definitely book with them again next time. Thank you!โ

What a pleasant and smooth day! ๐ The weather was amazing! Autumn in Takachiho Gorge is beautiful.
Luckily, I didn't become an Aso refugee! ๐ I saw Mount Aso up close, it was quite breathtaking! Our guide, Daisy Wu Xia, was super nice โ very professional service, a well-planned itinerary, and very helpful. She even shared local food and shopping tips with usโฆ Looking forward to seeing you again!โ

I specifically wanted to visit Aso, so I looked for a day trip. This tour was absolutely the best choice! Our guide, Takyeonji (Mira), took such great care of us that we had a wonderful time and took so many great photos! Thank you! Mount Aso is truly amazing, and the hot spring town is amazing too! Even if you don't soak in the hot springs, you can use the foot bath for free, which was a great touch.๎ฅ
