This should be a must-do if you haven’t been to Mont Saint Michel. The view as you walk up to the Mont is breathtaking and the abbey itself is awe-inspiring. Said to be the second-most visited place in France outside of Paris and one can understand why The drive there from Paris, while long (about 4 and a half hours each way including brief stops) is well organized. We had a comfortable bus, great drivers and a wonderful guide. Special shoutout to our guide Oname, who kept us informed, engaged and interested throughout the trip★

I highly recommend people take this instead of the self-guided audio tour. It makes a lot of difference. The guide shared a lot of stories with the site. It was a way more insightful tour that an audio device can't replace.★

I never seen like that before in an island. Mont Saint Michelle is something you need put it in your bucket list. If you vist Paris France, you need to include 1 day going there using *** leaving 7:15 am back by 9:00 PM. ★

We had a rough start, but this was due to the metro in Paris. We were relying on public transportation and almost missed the bus for our day trip. Although Paris is quite far from Saint-Michel, it was a place I had been wanting to visit for some time. I have been to Paris many times, so I wanted to get a way from the Paris scene and experience Saint-Michel. I had seen videos of it on YouTube so it had been on my bucket list for sometime. I definitely recommend.★

I'm so glad we drove here so we could take our time taking in all the scenic areas. We got pictures with the sheep and the castle in the background. The closer you drive there the prettier it gets and the walk to the castle is worth it. Saw pretty birds. It's all worth the trip. I'm glad we booked a walking tour, it was worth it hearing all the stories and if it weren't for the guide we wouldn't have seen hardly anything. Quite the experience. And we got ice cream on our way back down and the price wasn't sky high like some reviews said. While walking to the castle we noticed lots of kids walking in the clay area and sinking, like it was a big local thing. There's so much to say about this place and to think we were debating on coming here thinking it was overrated. I'm very glad we went.
TIP - Bring cash for bathroom it is NOT free.
