Trip Overview
09:00 Downtown Hotel Group Departure
After breakfast, visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization to delve into Egypt's historical treasures from prehistoric times to the modern era. Then, drive to Zamalek Island, an oasis in the Nile, to experience the tranquility and elegance within the city. Don't miss the sacred site hidden in the slums—the Cave Church—for a divine and awe-inspiring experience, witnessing the resilient power of faith amidst hardship. Enjoy free time at City Star Mall, Cairo's premier shopping and entertainment complex, indulging in a dual feast of shopping and dining.
16:00 Return to downtown hotel, concluding a wonderful day of activities.
Today's notes:
(1) The Mummy Exhibition Hall in the Museum of Egyptian Civilization is a special exhibition area that requires visitors to enter on their own; the guide cannot accompany you inside. Please take note.
(2) Zamalek Island has many trendy small shops. This is a public open area and not a shopping venue arranged by our company.
(3) The Cave Church is located in the slum area known as Garbage City, where the surroundings are dirty and disorderly with complex alleys. Please stay close to the guide and avoid wandering off. Vehicles may not always be able to reach the attraction entrance, requiring a 15-20 min walk. Please be advised.
