Reviews: Beijing 1-day Tour: Mutianyu Great Wall + Red Theater (English Service Available + Optional Private Tour with Door-to-Door Pickup)

Amy was a first rate guide. She had an excellent sense of timing and by following her advice we seemed to skip the big queus. We had a fantastic time and appreciated the amount of time allocated. Beijing traffic is a challenge when keeping to the schedule and getting to the acrobat show is tight. We got there in time for the show which was great fun. Full of young promises of the acrobatic world.

Tour guide John picked us up from the hotel on time. Acrobat show was nice although the queue was long. Our roast duck dinner was delicious. However, tour guide added a stop at a tea house that was not in the itinerary. It was to participate in a tea ceremony that was interesting but unnecessary and we were obliged to purchase the tea.

This trip was unforgettable experience. The views were breathtaking, we enjoyed every moment of being on the Mutianyu. The Summer Palace was amazing. Also, we were absolutely delighted to have Linda as our guide. She’s our best guide ever :)

This tour is very convenient and highly recommended. I went on March 8, and it was my first time visiting the Great Wall. I got to experience both the cable car and the chairlift, and there was plenty of time to enjoy it! The tour guide, Amy, was very nice, fluent in both languages and gave clear and concise explanations. Definitely worth experiencing!

Amazing! Our tour guide, Jay, was great! Fluent English, great explanation, very helpful when you have questions. One of the best tour guides I’ve had so far since arriving in China. The places we visited are also beautiful. But since we’re trying to squeeze everything into 1 day, obviously, you won’t have detailed history of each place. Jay did his best though IMO. The lunch was also good. Got to taste 北京烤鸭 (Beijing duck), Kungpao chicken, and plenty other dishes (can’t remember the name though).
