Highly recommend the tour — both the Giraffe Center and the Elephant orphanage were unforgettable experiences and contribute to the cause of conserving Kenya’s incredible wildlife. Ask for Meshack as your guide, he’s an all around good guy, very reliable and will go out of his way to make sure you have the best possible experience. He got us to the orphanage in time to watch the feeding and also made sure we got front row seats—intentionally in a spot that kept us dry and mud free when the baby elephants started wallowing in the water.
Be prepared to pay extra to explore the national park beyond the orphanage (the tour only includes the Giraffe Center and Orphanage), but it’s well worth it. Meshack knew all the best locations to view wildlife and maximized the time we had in the park. Within tour hours he got us amazing views of crocs, hippos, zebras, ostrich, gazelle, water buffalo, and even got us within feet of a grazing rhino family.
We liked Meshack so much we negotiated some extras into the tour and reached out to him to get us from our hard to access hotel to the train station the next day.★

My safari with Joseph was an adventure for the ages! His unparalleled expertise and genuine passion for wildlife made every moment unforgettable. From the elusive family of cheetahs we watched cozy up in the shade, to the lions basking in the sun, a sneaky hyena making its rounds, and even a stately giraffe grazing very close up—I witnessed so many animals. Joseph made sure we didn't miss a thing. His knowledge of the animals' behaviors and habitats, combined with his captivating storytelling, brought the safari to life. If you're looking for a guide who will make your safari dreams come true, Joseph is your man. This company was so easy to work with and very responsive.
Joseph definitely seems like someone who could make any trip unforgettable. What a thrilling experience!★

Traveling, especially internationally with a family, can be stressful. Valley Rocks Tours made everything so easy and stress free. They arranged all of our hotels, activities, transportation, and even dinner reservations. All we had to do was show up. We had greeters at the airport, individuals to help us with our luggage, and drivers to our hotels as well as to and from all of our activities. They had a day by day itinerary printed for us so we knew where we were going, what time we were being picked up, and what we needed to bring/wear for each activity. Everyone that they contracted with were professional, pleasant, and dependable. This included the drivers as well as the sites for our activities. The hotels were amazing! Restaurant recommendations were superb! All of our activities were amazing. Individuals from our travel agency checked in with us throughout our vacation to ensure we were doing well and gave us a 24-7 number to call if we had any issues. Of course, we never needed to use it because the vacation ran like clock work. This was the most perfect and memorable family vacation and we have (Mr John) Valley Rocks Tours to thank for that. I would recommend them to everybody without hesitation. I am very appreciative *To *mr John* for their time and really feel as if they treated our vacation as if they were planning it for their own family.*★

Such a unique experience unlike anywhere else. In a game drive, you’re sitting all day in a jeep like we did during our safari in Maasai Mara but here you’re active and seeing the landscapes and animals. Who can say they’ve biked with wildlife all around? You surely can if you do this tour! We saw zebras, baboons, impala, buffalo, warthogs, baboons, birds, giraffe, birds, etc. And the hike in the lion king gorge is simply fantastic. I could hear lion king theme songs up there haha! Finally about the agency itself — the tour provider was responsive, Calvin our driver was funny and considerate with a comfortable car, as is our guide during the bike tour in hells gate, then the restaurant we ate in for lunch was delicious - best food in Kenya we’ve tried in 2 weeks. Must do if you have the time, it’s just a truly unique experience that I can’t recommend enough! My heart is happy★

The tour was great, the guide for mount longonot (Joshua) was very knowledgeable and the views at the top were breathtaking. Our driver Jimmy also took care of all our requests and gave an insight into Kenyan life and culture throughout the trip. Highly recommend.
