Magic Mike took us on a tour of Cap Malheureux, the botanical gardens, lunch in a local seafood restaurant , tour of the fortress in Port Louis and the waterfront including new and old markets. It is much more interesting and you learn so much more with a guide than if you drive yourself around. Mike was a great host and we learned a lot about the cultural, political and geographical history of Mauritius. Our son also bartered for a Mauritius football shirt in the old market and we bought some lovely fresh spices and fruit. Lovely day: just book.

Douvesh was a brilliant guide; extremely knowledgeable, fun and personable. The tour built our knowledge of the city ranging from the role it played in indentured work to the great local food. Highly recommended and great value for money.
