Booked Penida Island round-trip fast boat tickets (Sanur – Nusa Penida – Sanur) with El Rey Fast Cruise, and the whole experience was excellent. When arriving at the harbor, you need to exchange your booking for physical tickets at the El Rey office. The Google Maps location wasn’t accurate, but after a short walk around I found it without too much trouble.
The process was smooth and well organized—staff provided the tickets quickly and clearly explained the next steps. After that, they arranged a shuttle bus to take us to the harbor area, which was very convenient and comfortable.
The boats themselves were spacious and in good condition. On our trip, it was only about half full, which made the journey even more comfortable. The ride was fast and smooth, with no issues at all.
The return trip was just as well organized—everything was on time and easy to follow.
Overall, a very reliable and comfortable experience with great staff. Highly recommended!★

Basically, it's pretty simple: you get a voucher, arrive at the office (we used Angkal) an hour before departure, show the voucher, and they'll give you badges and print out tickets to pass through the turnstile for boarding. Everything is on time, absolutely right on time!★
