Fantastic experience! Julia, our guide, was superb and spoke perfectly accessible English. Our driver was also excellent. The scenery is magnificent, and the boat cruise is a must-do. One small negative point: the lunch was very light; we only had a small chicken wrap.

This full-day tour was truly one of a kind and encompassed so many of Norway's incredible features. The Viking Village was not on my list of destinations when I planned my trip, I just thought it would be cool since it was a part of the tour, and it was incredible! Very informative learning about Viking history and culture, and debunking common myths or 'Hollywood' ideologies. There is also the opportunity to participate in Archery and Axe throwing which were very fun. We then moved onto the Fjord cruise, the boat was HUGE with plenty of room for everyone, and designed extremely well so its suitable for all ages and abilities. The views were spectacular. Once off the boat we boarded the Flam railway, although it wasn't very snowy like usual the scenery was still beautiful and I felt like I could have been in the Polar Express. There was snow passed about 700m (Myrdal top station sits about 860m) and the station at Myrdal was covered with snow. Train and bus ride back into Bergen was very relaxing after a long day. Overall could not recommend this trip enough, worth every cent in my opinion.

Driving from Oslo to Bergen Navigating the mountainous terrain posed some challenges, but the experience was ultimately enjoyable. Driving on top of the mountains provided a unique perspective on Norway's stunning landscapes. The winding roads and high altitudes offered unparalleled views, making every twist and turn an adventure in itself. Fjord Cruise Upon reaching Bergen, we embarked on a Fjord Cruise—a must-do for anyone visiting Norway. This cruise was the highlight of our trip, showcasing the raw power and beauty of nature. As we glided through the fjords, surrounded by towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls, we were reminded of how small we are in comparison to the majestic natural world. The fjord cruise is truly a one-of-a-kind experience that leaves a lasting impression. Rail Trip Back to Bergen To balance our day trip, we took the rail back to Bergen. This leg of the journey provided a different but equally captivating perspective of Norway. The train ride allowed us to relax and enjoy the scenery from a comfortable vantage point, showcasing Norway's diverse landscapes and charming countryside. It was a perfect way to conclude our trip, offering a comprehensive view of what Norway has to offer. Final Thoughts Our trip through Norway was an unforgettable blend of challenging drives, awe-inspiring natural beauty, and relaxing rail journeys. Each part of the journey complemented the others, providing a well-rounded and enriching travel experience. I would have regretted not doing this... Every part of Bergen is living art, but the fjords are art in themselves.
