What is the Rome Vatican Pass?
- 72-hour access to all Rome public transportation (subway, tram, bus; excluding Fiumicino and Ciampino airport transportation)
- Visit the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica (the basilica itself is free, excluding the dome), the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum (some popular attractions may be fully booked; please check on-site availability for scheduling).
- Validity: 72 hours (Valid on the selected date and the following 2 days)
How to Use
1. Please arrive at the meeting location 20 minutes before your scheduled time slot to present your e-voucher and redeem it for a paper voucher (it is essential to arrive 20 minutes early and not be late). The specific address is: Touristation Office - Piazza D'Ara Coeli 16, 00186, Rome, 00186, Rome (approximately a 15-minute walk from the Colosseum).
2. Attraction Visiting Guide:
- Please arrive at the meeting location 20 minutes before your scheduled time slot to present your e-voucher for redemption into a paper voucher. Our staff will assist you in arranging visits to the attractions included in your package (please note that some popular attractions may reach full capacity or become unavailable for booking, and availability will be subject to on-site arrangements).
- Colosseum, visit approx. 2 hrs after your selected time slot. Please bring valid ID.
- For other attractions, the specific visiting time is subject to the arrangement of on-site staff. Please bring valid identification.
- When visiting the Vatican Museums, please adhere to the strict dress code by covering your shoulders and knees, and bring valid identification.
- St. Peter's Basilica itself offers free admission, but the visit to the dome is not included in this travel pass. Please note that during peak season, the on-site queue at St. Peter's Basilica may exceed 30 minutes, so allow sufficient time.
3. Transportation to Fiumicino and Ciampino airports is not included in the unlimited public transportation pass (subway, bus, and tram).
4. Please bring a valid ID or passport. All visitors are required to present valid identification on-site. When placing an order, please provide the real names of the final visitors.
Important Notes:
1. Not all attractions are open full-day. During special activities at the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and archaeological areas (Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill), opening and closing times may vary. The Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel are closed on Sundays and public holidays in Vatican City. Please check the official attraction website in advance to plan your itinerary.
2. Shoulders and knees must be covered when entering the Vatican.
3. It is not recommended to take the subway to B Colosseo station. Instead, you can take a bus or tram to Piazza Ara Coeli near Piazza Venezia.
4. To enter St. Peter's Basilica, be prepared for potentially long queues from June through late August, with wait times possibly reaching 30 minutes.
