My boyfriend and I had an absolutely amazing time at this cooking class. Malik and his mother were incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming, and this was by far the coolest experience we had during our Sri Lanka vacation. We cooked eight different vegan (on our request) dishes, all using fresh local ingredients, and everything was explained with so much passion and knowledge. We even learned how to make the spice mixes. Malik and his mother also shared a lot about Sri Lankan cuisine and local culture, which made the experience even more special. Also, the family atmosphere was truly unique and authentic, as we were cooking in their own kitchen. And finally the food was simply exceptional. We have been traveling around Sri Lanka for a while now, and this was hands down the best food we have eaten so far. We can truly recommend this cooking class to everyone.
