This was a great trip. Our guide Dou was fantastic and really made the trip special. He was so cheerful and helpful, you couldn’t help but smile too; and very patient, the sites did not feel rushed at all. An excellent driver and an unforgettable guide, really! The 816 facility really is a marvel of hard work and engineering. It’s a very interesting site to visit and experience. The great rift valley was also amazing, a must see if visiting Chongqing, really beautiful and one of a kind. Highly recommend this tour, you absolutely won’t regret it.★

We begun the day with 816 — One might think it is just a dug out tunnel with old equipment left, but as a history and military buff, i absolutely love the visit. If you’re a history buff, recap on your Cold War timeline, specifically on the relationship between China, Soviet Union and the US. There was only Mandarin-speaking guide available, but there are adequate signage’s with brief English explanation. Rift Valley — Absolutely amazing, especially in the latter parts of the 7km walk. The cable car was down so the only option was to walk; it took me about 3hrs max, and I greatly enjoyed the parts when you’re deep in the rift valley. Must come!About
