It was a wonderful full-day (officially they say it 8 hours, but in fact it was abiut 10 hrs long) trip to yhe two wonders of Oman's nature. Khalil, my tour guide, was quite pleasant companion and extremely patient. I took the last pick-ip time avaliable (11:30 am) to see as lower sun as possible in the desert and spent the hottest day hours at one of the Wadi Bani Khalid pools.


