Reviews: Korean Folk Village & Suwon Hwaseong Fortress + Nammun MarketOne Day Tour (From Seoul)

What a wonderful tour! The village was sparsely populated, making it very comfortable! We were told about Korea's past, and it was interesting to notice the similarities with our own country! Then there was the market, where we were able to not only shop but also sample some of the products, as the vendors were very friendly.
Reviews: Half-Day DMZ Tour Led by a Retired Military Officer from Seoul
Guest User2026-04-03
Do not be put off by the number of reviews, this trip is amazing and our guide Jason was awesome. His sense of humor, knowledge and experience of being in military service I felt made the trip more authentic and memorable. You could try other more popular trips but if your looking for a more compact and interesting trip do not go past this one.

He was friendly, knowledgeable and also very funny, which made the whole tour even better. He explained everything really clearly without making it feel dry or overdone and struck a great balance between proper historical context and keeping the mood relaxed and engaging. What we liked most was that it all felt very easy and well organised, so we could actually take in what we were seeing ra
