Welcome to Suzhou. Dating back to 514 BC, Suzhou has a history of more than 2500 years. It is often referred to as ‘Venice of the East' and ʻParadise on Earthʼ.
(1)08:00 The driver will meet you at the lobby of your hotel in Shanghai (Please reserve the name and exact address of your hotel) andthen drive you to Suzhou(approx. 1.5 hours). The car depends on the amount of your group size, the picture is for reference(3-4pax).
(2)09:30 The English/Mandarian-speaking tour guide will meet you in Suzhou when you get off, and then your trip will start with a visit to the famous UNESCO-listed Humble Administrator's Garden. It has a history of more than 500 years and is one of the four most famous gardens in China. Since 1997, it has been inscribed on the World Cultural Heritage List. It features a water-centered layout, combines the techniques of creating illusions of a large space in a small area and borrowing scenery, boasts exquisite architectural decorations, and is rich in cultural connotations. Here you can see the pinnacle of garden landscaping art with every step.
(3)11:00 Shantang Street
After the garden, you will visit Shantang Street, which was built in the Tang Dynasty (825). Because it was between the downtown and the famous mountain Huqiu, it gradually formed a prosperous tourist commercial street. The characteristics of many rivers and bridges on Shantang Street fully reflect the characteristics of the streets and alleys of Suzhou, a water city. Since ancient times, it has been the favorite place of emperors and literati. Both Emperor Qianlong Kangxi and the famous painter Tang Yin of the Ming Dynasty had been lingering on both sides of the Shantang River.

- Package 2: The guide will arrange lunch for you, and then youwill take a boat ride from Shantang Street Ancient Theater Pier to Hanshan Temple Jiangfeng Bridge Pier(both fee is included).
(4)13:00 Hanshan Temple
After the boat ride, you will continue visiting Hanshan Temple, which has a history of more than 1500 years. A large number of exquisite Buddhist buildings and stone tablets are preserved in it, making it a good place to learn about Chinese Buddhist culture and find inner peace.
(5)14:30 Lanliyuan Silk Museum
Your trip is not complete without a visit to a silk museum as China is renowned for its exquisite silk and Suzhou is famous for its silk skills. Suzhou has the richest silk historical relics and remains in the world, and a large number of silk production techniques which are listed as World Intangible Cultural Heritage. In Lanliyuan Silk Museum, you can learn about the development history and exquisite artworks of Suzhou silk.
(6)16:00 The tour guide finishes the service after the museum, then the driver will drive you back to your hotel.
