It's time to scream in the Shark Machine. Departing from the berth in Queenstown's city center, we'll take you on an adrenaline-pumping adventure across the picturesque Lake Wakatipu. Like a stunt plane on water—climb into the cockpit and prepare for powerful thrusts as our professional drivers deliver an unforgettable experience. Through the F-16 fighter jet-grade glass of the semi-submersible shark boat, you'll watch the sky disappear before your eyes as your pilot takes you on a long underwater dive before bursting back to the surface, launching the entire 6-meter shark boat into the air. We can perform 90-degree barrel rolls, tight circular turns, reaching speeds of 80 km/h on water and 40 km/h when diving underwater.
For the shark boat experience, please allow up to 25 minutes from registration to complete the entire activity, with 15 minutes of water time.
Instructions
Passengers must not exceed the following weight and height limits before boarding:
Weight limit: 105 kg; Height restriction: 193 cm.
Age requirement: 6 years and above. For children aged 17 and under, a waiver consent form must be completed by their parent or legal guardian.
Tour duration: 20 min
Schedule: Starts at 9:50, every 20 min, last one at 15:50
