Reviews: Amsterdam: Evening Cruise with Optional Wine and Snacks
Guest User2026-02-16
We opted for the Valentine's Day evening cruise, and it was quite well organized and rather romantic: there was a tablecloth with hearts on the table, and little heart-shaped cookies and candies. I also really liked the photo taken of us at the beginning before we boarded. It was a bit of a shame, though, that it was cold: we couldn't open the boat's windows, so we couldn't see very well because of the condensation (but we each had a squeegee to clear it). It was also very relaxing after a long day of walking around Amsterdam.
Reviews: Amsterdam: The Newest Canal Cruise with Drink Option

We had an absolutely fantastic time exploring the heart of Amsterdam with Eco Boats, and a large part of that was thanks to our guide, Timon! Cruising through the historic canals was already a highlight of our trip, but Timon’s storytelling and energy made it even better. He shared fascinating insights about the city’s iconic bridges and architecture, all while keeping the atmosphere light and fun with his great sense of humor. He was also incredibly attentive, ensuring everyone had a great view and even helping us capture some perfect photos along the way. If you’re looking for a memorable way to see Amsterdam from the water, I highly recommend booking a cruise with Timon!

Great canal tour. Very entertaining. Good value. Highly recommend. We were lucky as it was a sunny day. If you book online it’s slightly cheaper than paying on the day.
Reviews: Day Tour Zaanse Schans, Lego Village and Giethoorn Incl. Hotel Pick Up

It was a perfect trip. Our guide, Deng, was incredibly professional, providing explanations of everything from the sights to the local customs and culture of the Netherlands, making the trip truly worthwhile. My personal suggestion is that you definitely need a talkative person in the front passenger seat; the more you talk, the better Deng will perform.
Reviews: Netherlands Giethoorn 1-day tour [Small group of 8 people/Chinese/English options + cruise experience]
Guest User2025-06-21
When I first started planning my trip, I read some posts from other travelers and thought I could go on my own. However, when I checked public transportation in Giethoorn, I realized it wasn't practical, as it would take up most of the day to travel. So, I booked a day tour instead, which was honestly a bit pricey. However, the tour and experience were fantastic. The bus driver explained Dutch history and geography along the way to Giethoorn, and also introduced the main attractions and buildings we saw. It was definitely worth booking the tour (by the way, sit on the right side of the bus, as most of the attractions mentioned are on the right). Giethoorn is definitely worth a visit; the houses and water of the entire village create a unique, beautiful, and tranquil scene.
