Our tour guide Jesse was simply fantastic. We learned a great deal about the dark side of Dallas in a very entertaining and engaging way. We had a lot of fun.

It was an excellent tour; our guide, Anna, was fantastic! She managed to engage us in more ways than just informing us. The highlight of the tour was the house, preserved exactly as it was in 1963, where Harvey Oswald lived.

I visited Dallas, Texas for the very first time on 1/9/26-1/11/26. I am 57 years old. Nearly all of my life I have been fascinated with all things Kennedy. I remember as a child listening to my older brother tell me about the JFK assassination. He had a 1/2 dollar coin of Kennedy. I grew up reading books, watching documentaries, and attending a lecture regarding acoustics from a recording of a police office’s motorcycle’s radio of the shots fired at JFK. Every time I have heard of Dallas, I have wanted to visit the actual sites from the tragic event on 11/22/63. I was born and raised in Tennessee. Many months ago, I purchased a concert ticket to see Shaun Cassidy in Dallas. I immediately decided I would stay an extra day in Dallas to visit Dealy Plaza. I located the JFK assassination tour, but had to wait many months to see if a tour would be scheduled at the time of my visit to Dallas. Very fortunately for me, it was scheduled. On the day of the tour (and prior to the exact day) I received excellent and very accurate information on where to meet for this tour. Preston exceeded every expectation I could have possibly had. I thought I knew enough about the JFK assassination to easily teach a course. Preston’s knowledge base is far superior. He explained his background very well. He was incredibly kind, cordial, and respectful to everyone in our group. Preston continues to research and build his knowledge base on the JFK assassination. I was absolutely shocked all day how he was able to speak almost non-stop about every detail of the JFK assassination. At the beginning of the tour a family of 4 that included a child and a toddler boarded the van at the last possible moment. The family created quite a scene with a car seat. Everyone on the van immediately and politely moved seats to accommodate them. However, this family was loud and highly disruptive. Outside the van at the Kennedy memorial there was an Iranian protest/demonstration that was noisy. Preston handled this situation with ease. He maintained his composure. The toddler progressively became more distressed. The mother and father created a highly distracting scene with a baby bottle and pulling out recording equipment of the tour. Preston gently asked if there was anything he could offer to assist them and they did not provide an answer. He kindly told us that he needed to increase the volume from his microphone so that we could hear him. It was cold outside along with the protest so leaving the van at that moment was not an attractive option. Preston continued the tour with stellar professionalism. When we reached Dealy plaza, we all exited the van. The disruptive family of 4 left and did not return to the tour. In conclusion, I enjoyed this tour so much that immediately all I could think was that I wanted to do it all over again. One time was not enough. My goal is to return to Dallas one day for a repeat. I cannot thank Preston enough for this incredible tour. I told Preston that this was life changing for me. I hope he understands how much I appreciate his high quality tour. Thank you!
