Day 1
Meet at meeting point: Our busses have a sign with the name Elafonisso Travel.Attractions and Activities: Samaria Gorge (At your own expense) Our adventure starts about 6.00 a.m from Chania area. During our bus drive to Omalos our guide gives you all the information about the hike. At Omalos we have time for breakfast and around 8.00 a.m. we start the hike at Xiloskalo (1.230 m altitude). During this 16 km hike you will cross Europe`s largest gorge and Crete`s only national park! At the end of the gorge you have time for a swim in the Libyan sea and enjoy typical Cretan food in our tavern Kri – Kri. In the afternoon we will take the boat to Sougia where our bus is waiting to bring you back to your hotels. Return time: 20.00 ( in Chania center) 6 hr(s)
