Choose from multiple departure times (advise at booking time) to suit your schedule. On the way to Udaipur, first stop at the complex of the Ranakpur Jain temples in the Aravalli range stuns the visitor with its intricate carvings and exquisite beauty. Learn about the history of this 15th-century temple and unique architecture, including numerous pillars. See the large colony of monkeys that inhabit the temple and surrounding area. Attractions and Activities: Ranakpur Jain Temple (At your own expense) One of the famous and sacred places of Jains. The temple is located in the heart of the city and is an architectural marvel. The structure is really huge running into multiple floors. The temple houses more than 400 pillars, all of which are beautifully engraved. The place os really peaceful and surely gives a great holy feel. While you are here, do not miss out on the evening Aarti. Attractions and Activities: Kumbhalgarh Fort (At your own expense) Kumbhalgarh fort is at a drive of around 3 hours from Udaipur. It is a mewar fortress built by Rana Sangha in the 15th century. This fort is a UNESCO world heritage site. The highlight of the fort is a 36 km long perimeter walls, which is the second longest wall after the wall of china.
