I traveled using a Eurail pass. It was cheaper than other sites, including points redemption, so I used it. I recommend it if you travel long distances a lot. I'll definitely consider it for my next trip to Europe.

We were absolutely thrilled. Our tour guide (I've unfortunately forgotten her first name) is originally from Cologne/Aachen and has lived in Freiburg for about 10 years. She gave us an excellent explanation of the historic old town and really made us feel included. Her very friendly personality perfectly complemented the informative tour.
