It was the site of a historic battle that turned the tide of the struggle for control in favor of the House of Saud and paved the way for modern-day Saudi Arabia. Attractions and Activities: Souk Al Zal (Ticket included) One of Riyadh's oldest traditional markets that carries 100 years of history within its alleyways. As soon as you start your tour in Souk AlZal and hear the sellers' voices in the auctions, you will feel that you have traveled to the past of the city. The souk is known for its antiques, rare coins, and old utensils.
