Reviews: Rome: Trastevere & Campo de Fiori Street Food Walking Tour

We absolutely loved our Street Food tour with Lily - we enjoyed 5 authentic Roman Street foods - Supli, Porcheta, Romania Pizza, Maritozzo and Gelato. The tour was fantastic value for money compared to other tours at looked at. Lily was really engaging throughout - she linked the history of the area to the food we were eating and made it really fun and enjoyable throughout. 100% recommend.

What I especially appreciated was our guide Luca's warmth and engaging approach. The places we visited were magnificent. However, in the places we went to sample street food, the vendors were careless. For example, the shopkeeper served artichokes in a carelessly presented barrel on the side, despite the cafe having tables and chairs. The pasta place we had was quite good, though. The tour wasn't three hours, but a full two. Luca's energy made it all worth it.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and she did a nice job of explaining the subject of the tour. The tour was supposed to be three hours and ended up two hours and I think that it should’ve been the three hours that was advertised. Other than that, I think it was a wonderful opportunity to learn yet another interesting Set of facts about Rome. It was worth the money.
