Details: For groups of 3 people and more Have you always dreamed of swimming with turtles in their natural environment? Join us on our Private turtle snorkel adventure in Akumal where you will learn all about turtles and why they are so important to the ocean ecosystem and why they are now endangered. The day will begin with an introduction to turtles; where we will discover what kind of animals they are, how many different species we can find in Mexico, what are the differences between each species and how we identify them. We will then take a long and leisurely snorkel around the seagrass corridors where the green turtles quietly graze on the seagrass. Angela will take spectacular underwater photographs of you and your family. We will also meet a cast of marine creatures along the way; fish and corals. Once back on the beach we will look at the fish identification books and discuss what animals we saw and how we can help protect them as we eat a healthy fruit snack. The day ends with a fun and creative activity to make sure you never forget your day with the turtles. You will leave with a much stronger passion for the ocean and a huge smile!
