Attractions and Activities: Chinese Fishing Nets (Ticket included) The Chinese fishing nets, locally known as "Cheena Vala"are fixed installations on the sea shore for an unusual form of fishing — shore operated lift nets. They are mostly found around Kochi in the Indian state of Kerala. Large mechanical structure is at least 10 m high and comprises a cantilever net suspended over the sea and big stones suspended from ropes as counterweights at the other end.
