Kota Kinabalu Kawa-Kawa River Cruise: Proboscis Monkey and Firefly Tour (Including Afternoon Tea and Dinner)
The trip went very smoothly! Pick-up and drop-off were punctual, and the itinerary was well-organized. Afternoon tea and dinner were delicious, especially the local specialties, which left a lasting impression.
The most unforgettable experience was seeing the proboscis monkeys on the riverbank; they were lively, fun, and incredibly cute. The fireflies at night were breathtaking—the entire forest seemed to be lit up by stars, a dreamlike and magical experience!
The guide was also very professional and friendly, providing engaging explanations and patiently answering our questions. Overall, it was a journey full of surprises, and I highly recommend it! It will definitely be an unforgettable memory.

The highlight was definitely seeing the proboscis monkeys along the river—they were active, playful, and adorable. And the fireflies at night were absolutely breathtaking! The trees glittered like starlight, creating a magical and enchanting atmosphere.

I think this is a very worthwhile part of Kota Kinabalu; the fireflies are beautiful, and the tour guide is excellent. Aside from the slightly bumpy ride on the main road, there are no other downsides.★

The tour guide was incredibly professional and attentive. There were only two of us, and he took photos of us at every attraction – they were even better than the photos we took ourselves! The rafting in Jelutong was thrilling but not dangerous. The instructors were professional and very attentive. I, who am usually afraid of water, thoroughly enjoyed the trip! The Mali Cultural Village was also unforgettable! Our guide, Cavin, was very professional and attentive, and the guide, Ray, was also very professional, helping me learn a lot about the customs and traditions of Malaysia's indigenous peoples!★
