I'd like to share my experience. It's warm on the wall on January 8th. The temperature is just above freezing. Those accustomed to Far Eastern and Siberian winters with temperatures of -20-30 degrees Celsius will find it very comfortable. We haven't tried the green route. It's shorter (1.5 hours) and easier. We climbed the red route (2.5 hours) from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, taking 40 minutes each way. From 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, it's a stroll. From 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, it's a dash up steep steps. The steps are of varying sizes. Watch your step. Wear light shoes. And don't dress too warmly. A wet back, and maybe even something else, will ruin the experience. It's better to dress lightly and sportily, and pack some extra gear in case the wind picks up.★

Hello everyone! As soon as I paid for the reservation, the tour organizer messaged me on WeChat almost immediately. A few days before the tour, he also wrote to me and mentioned our guide, with whom we also communicated on WeChat! If you're traveling with children, definitely take this tour and you'll enjoy it! No need to worry about how or what to take, no need to go to the metro station to transfer to a bus; a comfortable minivan picked us up. Our guide, Tana, was very engaging and spoke excellent Russian; even the kids enjoyed listening! Very kind and attentive! The only thing I'll point out is that we paid 140 yuan per person for the round-trip cable car. The experience was simply wonderful! I highly recommend it!★

A very well-organized trip to the Great Wall and the Summer Palace! The meeting point was also very well described and easy to find. Our guide, Liz, was very enthusiastic and also catered to individual requests. The bus was clean and comfortable. There were no queues at the attractions, so we could use the entire four hours at the wall. And all this at a great price!★

Andy's planning was flawless, from the punctual hotel pickup to his brilliant strategy of getting us to the Great Wall ahead of the crowds. We enjoyed a peaceful and breathtaking experience there, all thanks to him. His knowledge brought both sites to life; he shared fascinating stories about the Great Wall's history and painted vivid pictures of the Empress Dowager CiXi’s life and pastimes at the Summer Palace, making the Long Corridor and every detail truly captivating for both me and my teenage daughter. Susan is a fantastic guide and we had a brilliant day to remember with her. The Sacred Road was awesome, and there was hardly anyone else there which made it very special. Ming Tombs were interesting, and Susan‘s descriptions were very informative. And ultimately the Great Wall was… well… Great! Strongly recommend Susan as your guide for the kind of trip we did or for anything in Beijing. She’s full of knowledge, really interesting and great fun.
