It was incredibly worthwhile! I got free rides on the Metro and Kintetsu trains all day (but not within the Osaka area, not for longer distances). I also got free access to Umeda Sky Tower (beautiful views!), Osaka Castle (free entry and a free boat ride around the castle), and several Ferris wheels. The Dotonbori boat ride was also free, along with many other privileges.About
